The people at Sonic Boom constitute an unusual pot pourri. Apart from the usual combination of copywriters, animators, visualizers, stage experts, decorators, marketing wizzos, event co-coordinators, account managers & accountants that infest any event management company, Sonic Boom has in its manifold over two hundred committed consultants, artistes, performers & volunteers. It is our ability to draw from this wealth of resource that sets us apart from other organizations. Joining Sonic Boom is not a complicated process. If you want to work with us full time, then go to the careers page. If you are an artiste or performer or consider yourself to be one, then go to the performer's page . If you want to be associated with us on a part time basis as a volunteer/consultant, or you think you can bring some kind of a special skill set & would like to be associated with us on an “on & off” basis, then pray write to us. The founders of Sonic Boom are:

CHITRAVINA RAVIKIRAN:

  • A household name in Carnatic music
  • World's youngest musician; first professional appearance at two (in 1969); disciple of father Chitravina maestro Narasimhan & T Brinda.
  • Vocalist since five; could present over 500 compositions by then.
  • Instrumentalist (Chitravina) since twelve.
  • Widely travelled and featured in several international festivals, concerts and lectures all over the world.
  • Honoured with many awards & titles.
  • Set a record with non-stop 24-hour recital on the chitravina in 1985.
  • Collaborated with top artistes in fusion/crossover presentations; featured in several best-selling audio and video productions.
  • Composer in five languages; composed nearly 450 pieces. Creator of MELHARMONY in world music.
  • Has composed and directed numerous ballets and orchestras; first Indian musician to collaborate with the BBC Philharmonic artistes, the collaboration was selected among the 5 top concerts out of nearly 2000 world music events in the UK Millennium Festival.
  • Founder of International Foundation for Carnatic Music and the Musicians' Benevolent Fund.
  • Trained numerous disciples all over the world; originator of innovative methods like tele teaching.
  • Authored several books and articles.
  • Has been a consultant for several companies and organisations such as Ford Foundation & Induslive.com

ROLE: Conceptualizes & plans all our shows

KAVERI:

  • A Musician, trained in Hindustani classical music and western guitar.
  • Experience of over ten performing years with over 500 shows under his belt.
  • Expert in popular Indian music and its history.
  • Eight cumulative years of experience in emceeing and radio programming and jockeying. Has represented bangalore and Karnataka in national music programmes.
  • More than ten years experience in events planning and operations.

ROLE: Heads the operations & execution of all our events

ANAND KRISHNAN:

  • Pioneered the concept of AV ads in a live show in India.
  • Been involved with stage management for the past 13 years.
  • 15 years experience in marketing diverse products & concepts. Proficient in all facets of marketing & an ad designer.
  • Marketing & promotion consultant to various national & international organizations.
  • Directed animation movies.
  • A leading entertainer & conductor of literary events.
  • Created various new entertainment forms for the Bangalore corporate entities.
  • A leading consultant on stress busting & team building techniques.

ROLE: Heads all our marketing & sales activities.
